General DescriptionTenwek Dental Clinic is a well-established modern dental clinic that seeks to serve Christ through compassionate dental care. Tenwek dental averages over 3000 patient visits per year and provides emergency care 5 days per week from 8AM to 5PM Monday-Friday. Preventative and general dental care are available on a scheduling basis. We offer full dental x-rays (including orthopanoramic radiology)
restorative care with both amalgam and composite (tooth colored) fillings, periodontal care (cleanings and scaling), crowns & bridges (gold and tooth colored), dentures (both complete and partial dentures), root canals, extractions, biopsy/oral pathology services, fluoride therapy, removable orthodontic care, and reduction of jaw fractures. Tenwek Dental is always staffed with highly qualified Christian dentists, oral health officers, oral technologists, and dental assistants.
Dental Staffing NeedsTenwek Dental Clinic currently has two openings for the positions of Oral Health Officer. The applicant should be one of strong Christian faith and morals. The applicant should have successfully completed training as an Oral Health Officer. The applicant should be competent in dental examinations, dental pathology, extractions, and dental community outreach. u have scheduled to volunteer, as we would like to arrange patient schedules accordingly. We encourage you to bring lectures in your designated specialty. If you are able to bring dental supplies or instruments for donation, it is greatly appreciated, as dental supplies are costly in Kenya.
